Licensing
The Abe Nehrer Font Company
ANFCo fonts are licensed, not sold.
We keep our licensing straightforward so designers and studios can work with clarity and confidence.
If your usage grows, your license can grow with it.
Overview
ANFCo licenses are structured around:
Company size for Desktop use
Domain and traffic for Web use
Choose the license that matches how you work. If you’re unsure, we’re happy to help.
Desktop License
The Desktop License covers use in:
Print
Packaging
Logos and brand identities
Advertising
Static digital graphics
Client projects
Licensing Model
Desktop licenses are issued per company employee, not per device.
Licensed employees may install the font on all computers they personally use for work.
You may:
Use the font commercially
Use it in client work
Create and deliver outlined artwork
The font software itself may not be shared outside the licensed company.
If your team expands, simply upgrade your license to reflect your size.
Webfont License
The Webfont License allows you to embed ANFCo fonts on a website.
Licensing Model
Webfont licenses are issued:
Per domain
Based on monthly page views
Each domain requires its own license.
Webfont files may be self-hosted and used on the licensed website.
If traffic exceeds your selected tier, an upgrade ensures continued coverage.
Test / Demo Fonts
We provide test fonts so designers can explore and pitch with confidence.
You may:
Develop internal concepts
Create mockups
Present proposals to clients
A commercial license is required before public launch, production, or distribution.
App, Broadcast & Extended Use
Use in:
Mobile or desktop applications
Software embedding
Television or streaming broadcast
Large-scale distribution platforms
Requires an extended license. Please contact ANFCo for details.
Custom & Enterprise Licensing
For large organizations, multi-office teams, or unique use cases, we offer tailored agreements.
Updates
Licensed customers receive free updates for technical improvements and character expansions.
ANFCo fonts are built for working designers — studios, brands, and independent creatives who care about craft.
